BRONWEN PIERSON, Esq., Certified Health & Life Coach

Mission Statement

Pierson Wellness’s mission is to help people enhance their emotional intelligence and contribute to creating a Living Above the Line movement across the world. From Above the Line, human beings become the best versions of themselves. Internally, they experience more love, joy, peace, fulfillment and abundance. Outwardly, they express more love, compassion, understanding and the ability to help others. As a result, populations can create more peace, positive solutions, provision of basic needs, and increased health and happiness for all. It starts with each individual learning how to communicate with her or himself functionally, i.e. from Above the Line, then learning how to communicate with others from Above the Line, and finally to create Above the Line solutions that benefit entire families, entities, communities and countries.

MORE FROM BRONWEN…

I grew up in Caribou, Maine where I learned all of my values that I treasure: the value of the great outdoors, the value of creating your own adventure, the value of friendships and family, and the value of perseverance. Though I started my career in law, my aim was always to help other people. Through a series of personal health issues, I came to discover that my passion is not in helping people with their legal issues, it is in helping people with their health and happiness issues.

Upon my graduation from law school, I began seeing doctors for digestive discomfort. I was not interested in the prescription medication they had to offer, so I began to pursue more knowledge about my body and natural solutions. While I have always been an athlete, this new pursuit led to more understanding about nutrition and health became my hobby.

However, the one health issue I still hadn’t addressed was chronic stress. At age 44, after running two stressful businesses, and knowing I wanted to change my vocation, I began to experience cracks in my wellness foundation like anxiety and chronic pain. I knew I could be a better version of myself, so just like I looked for a solution for my digestive issues, I started to look for a way to eliminate my chronic stress. I sold the real estate company and left the law firm. I began my new, full-time vocation as a wellness educator. However, this did not magically eliminate my chronic stress.

So I went to work to figure out how to be happier. I read hundreds of books on physical and emotional wellness, took courses, and I followed a very twisty path experimenting, processing and making sense out of what I learned. I began to see how I could create changes in my mood, my behavior and my stress levels, and how those led to feeling better physically and emotionally. I started specializing in life coaching and created a system from what I learned in order to help other people….my aim in the first place.

I came to understand that we have so much untapped potential to create lives that we love to live - a realization that we actually create our own luck or own own struggle - that I am committed to help others understand their power and how to work together to enjoy the amazing benefits of living with increasing amounts of emotional intelligence, or as I call it, Living Above the Line.
